Sex doll or real woman?

This trend is spilling into Switzerland more and more; sex dolls made of silicone!

It’s been part of current events in China for some time now. Lifelike love dolls that replace a sex partner. The large surplus of men, long working hours, low purchasing power and the migrant workers' wives being far away all feed the phenomenon. How is a man supposed to meet his needs?

It is not so easy to find a nice "one night stand" when needed or to be able to afford an escort when time and money are in short supply. Since very few people are able to buy their own doll (they cost between 2 000 and 10 000 Swiss francs); there are so-called doll hotels. Like in a brothel, the always willing love-dolls sit ready for customers. Each of them have different make-up, are specially dressed, so somehow they have a different character (if you can speak of character in dolls).

So eventually, every doll winds up with a certain charisma that appeals to someone. Certain basic specifications are almost all the same: they are all kept quiet, about the same in terms of production age, the tender silicone feels similar and they actually do everything that is technically possible without complaining. That still makes the selection process difficult. Do you like blondes, raven haired women or brunettes ? With eye color choices, cup sizes, etc, you can really put together your dream woman and she won't say NO. Even though the prices are considerably lower than for real escorts, some services cost extra, due to the additional cleaning.

Once you’ve finally decided on a certain model, off to the performance room…or love nest? Yes, there are people who can fall in love with an object or in this case a sex-doll. Unfortunately, this love remains somewhat one-sided.

Once nude, it somewhat feels real and the silicone wobbles as well, almost like real flesh. But no matter what, the natural reactions are missing and the pleading gaze doesn't change unlike it happens with a nice and beautiful girl. And yet there are men who keep coming back. What motivates them? Like in China, is it time and money that come to the fore?

The trend has also reached Europe. Although the motives are probably different, inquiries are increasing. Some people will probably just try out to know what it feels like; others may have less of a guilty conscience when "cheating" with a doll than when they are having fun with a real woman. Maybe they just enjoy having fun without comment, or maybe they just want to try something they don't do at home. It is certainly not for everyone but it is nice that this possibility of another avenue for satisfaction exists. The models are also subject to further continuous development. Sensors are built in to trigger reactions, motors move parts or cause vibrations. More and more technology; more and more lifelike and complicated, of course.

Will love dolls drive the escorts out of the market? Will an artificially made object ever be able to completely replace real women ? Developers and scientists are working on artificial intelligence; feelings can't be recreated yet, but at some point, it will happen. As sex dolls develop more and more into real sex robots, they will, in the future, take up more and more space in the erotic area.

They will never, however, completely replace our lovely escorts; and that's a very good thing!
