Why Girls choose to work as Escorts in Switzerland?

Switzerland is one of the world’s richest and most stable economies, with an estimated windfall of 4 billion Swiss francs for prostitution.

The lawfulness 

Prostitution is legal in Switzerland but subject to regulation. In this country, women can work in relative security and many of them now travel back and forth for work. They can choose to work on the street (although it is not legal in all cantons and very restrictive), in erotic parlors, in sex clubs, for Swiss escort agencies or for themselves as independent escorts in Zurich or other big cities. Sexual services in Switzerland may be sold between two consenting adults and is considered an independent economic activity. Escort work permit in Switzerland: not always necessary

Due to its legalization and agreements between Switzerland and the European Union on the free movement of people, the number of prostitutes has risen over the last decade. Here in Switzerland, prostitutes are treated the same as any other self-employed worker: they should possess a valid work permit, a sex work license, health insurance and of course, pay taxes. For those girls who do not wish to establish themselves permanently in Switzerland, short term employment up to three months a year is possible as long as they are European Union citizens.

Indeed, citizens from EU-25/EFTA states do not require an authorization for short-term employment up to 90 days per calendar year. However, the future Swiss employer is required to register the employee. The report must be submitted at least one day before employment is due to begin. Ladies who are citizens of non-EU countries are unfortunately not allowed to work as escorts in Switzerland.

Unlike many European countries, working girls in Switzerland are still earning a very good living. Independent escorts choose to work in Switzerland in order to have freedom from financial worries, to help their families or to pursue their studies. In Zürich or Geneva, a sex worker can usually earn much more than a general practitioner or a banker. After expenses, they are used to going back home with a heavy wallet: between 2000 CHF (1760 EUR) and 6000 CHF (5270 EUR) a week. Not bad, uh?

And what about the language?

Many women who are thinking about working as prostitutes in Switzerland do not go ahead, mainly because of the language. A lot of them think that not speaking French or German will prevent them from earning money. Actually, not! Switzerland (Bern, Zurich, Geneva and Basel) is a very international country and home to many expats!  Although speaking French or German is a significant advantage to work in Switzerland, having a good command of English is more than enough! Girls interested in an escort job in Switzerland should not be afraid of their language skills as it is not a disqualifying criterion.

What kind of sex services do Swiss men like?

Erotic massages, as the name suggests, is the use of massage techniques to achieve or enhance sexual arousal, hence the nickname: “happy ending massage”. GFE is when the escort acts out the role of a lover in an exclusive relationship. For 30 minute sessions, gentlemen usually pay between 150-200 CHF. If they wish to stay up to 1 hour, the price will rise to 250-300 CHF.
